My 1st bottles of Veuve Clicquot were purchased at a grocery store near the Sheraton hotel. I had a lovely room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and I felt very blessed to be there!

Many people just think of the 4th of July as a holiday off from work, where they can go on a picnic, have a barbecue, and watch the fireworks display. But to be an American and to celebrate the 4th of July means much more. There is a long and wonderful history of the people who pioneered this land, worked the fields with their bare hands, raised crops as farmers and rebelled against over taxation by "The Crown". We stood together and created this new country where we could live free. Learn your history and stay the course. Do not lose the freedoms that were so hard won. Happy 4th of July, everyone!

These are sets I made for fun contests! :)

A set for a 4th of July contest by Polyvore. I wanted to make something more serious, so this set is based on the foundations and history of our freedom in America. I used items from American and French designers, along with some antiques: a French tea caddy set, and a rare and valuable "tobacco leaf" pattern plate from China. Collecting the tobacco leaf china is better for you than smoking tobacco and these beautiful pieces will not only bring beauty into your home, but they will give you a better $$$ return in the long run! Happy 4th of July everyone!! *^-^*
